I actually just started listening to podcasts. My daughter got me started. And because I have always been fascinated with the JFK story, I ran up on yours. There is so much about this story that you bring to light and so much of this does not make sense. From the time that you were talking about Carr and the FBI not wanting him to tell the truth as well as someone trying to kill him, the first thought that came to mind was Johnson. The second thought that came to mind was Hoover. The reason I say Johnson is because he appointed the Warren Commission. It is so obvious that people did not want the truth to come out and that means there must have been a conspiracy bigger than what anyone thinks. It’s leaning toward Oswald was set up and maybe he was not quite as smart as he thought he was. I have to tell you I am hooked and I can’t wait to hear your take on this.

      Hi Mary,

Thanks for reaching out and commenting on the podcast. I apologize for the delay in responding, but I have been traveling these past couple of days. I am so glad that you are enjoying the podcast. Knowing that you enjoyed those particular episodes, I think you might really like some of the others where we point out true deception in the presentation of the evidence. I hope you will stay with it. Later in the podcast series, we will address the rumors and the innuendo around Johnson, which is really going to be a fascinating part of the series…there is no definitive evidence of him being directly involved….but just wait…there are some fascinating stories to tell about the topic as a whole…and I hope to be able to bring them to you. Enjoy the weekend, and please do stay in touch. It’s very motivating to hear from listeners and to hear positive comments about the podcast…

I actually meant Hoover and not Hoffman. I guess the Hoffman story was still on my mind. I have to tell you I am so angry at all the lies and coverups. I mean this was a president. It angers me. I am way behind on some of these so I have to listen to episode 1 for example and then episode 65. As of now, I have listened to 1-15 and then 65 all the way down to 40 so I have a lot to catch up on. (My car for some reason wants to play backward and because it is dangerous to try to find the next episode and drive, I just had to pick a number and let it playback. I am sure I will be listening to some of these again in order. I work a lot and very long hours and then I come home, log on to work and my college site and work on my degree. However, I have an hour’s drive to work and home so this is my podcast time. And of course now when I am able to go for a walk, and sometimes even in the shower… This has me doing my own research for pictures, videos, etc. I have read about the conspiracy with Bush as well as I think a guy with the last name as Price maybe admit to shooting JFK in an interview. This is all so much! Just throwing this out there… I would also love to hear your input on the MLK shooting. I am probably going to be very surprised maybe not to hear your final thoughts on this one. So many things I just do not understand. Oh btw..love your take on the Carr interview. Is it me or do the lawyers just seem not very smart and like they are clearly trying to hide the actual truth? Wow! Conspiracy does not need any more proof, nor the coverup. Just am interested to know which conspiracy and even how many.

Criticisms, complements and comments. First off, I’ve found the audio levels on your broadcasts varies significantly. I’m presently at episode 43 and transitions from interviews to monologues and back will entail volume shifts that runf from nearly inaudible to the verge of blasting out an eardrum or two. I’m wondering whether or not a little ‘normalisation’ might be in order. Secondly, it appears impossible to make any comments on episodes that are more than 2-3 weeks old. What gives? Wouldn’t it be more practical to receive comments in a single global thread. People will refer back to individual episodes if necessary anyway.

Secondly, your podcast is brilliant. This is my third attack at the JFK problem in some 50 years. The latest comes after viewing Oliver Stone’s new JFK Revisited documentary. In contrast to Stone’s oeuvre which is extremely dense and doesn’t allow you a split second to reflect and put the pieces together, yours allows the contrary. Yes, you’ve got a leisurely style, at times redundant, but it allows one to absorb progressively the vast and complex subject matter which the podcast is all about. The chapters are very well structured, clear-cut and humble. Your pretty well neutral stance makes for a rewarding ‘jury’ experience. My analysis has shifted from left to right and back as the different lines of inquiry have progressed and become more refined. I’ve had to resort to a map, floor plan or series of photos now and again but you provide the ideal backbone for making the forays out into all those different organic extensions. You’ve mentioned having stomach qualms in a number of episodes. May I suggest shifting your diet from sandwiches to broccoli salads. It’ll do ya wonders.

Third, I believe I had a follow-up question in nearly every chapter, but then proceeded to forget and/or research an answer elsewhere. To keep this short, I’ll just pull a couple out of the hat at random. 1) In regards to the grassy knoll, when they did those rifle test/simulations was any there mention of Indian signals (i.e. puffs of smoke)? That I believe would resolve one angle of the conspiracy rather quickly, no? 2) More importantly, a major point of division concerns the myriad of affidavits, depositions, etc that people claim left and right to have been ‘altered’ by police, the FBI or Mr Warren himself. Inspite of the fact that Texas may likely still have been an old-boy throw-back state in the 1960s, hadn’t they invented the carbon copy? I mean in my experience from China to France (where I live) any official form that I’ve filled out over the decades has always led to my being handed a signed or stamped copy of the original. S.O.P. Did this not happen in 60s Texas? Are there not examples of people who at least tried to ask for such a copy and were refused? This mere bit of cultural legalese would have avoided a whole slew of contradictions and instances of corruption.

Anyway, keep up the good work. Hope to hear your verdict at the end. Perhaps, I will share mine. All the best and do send me the recipe for that cheesecake…. Chuck

      Hi Chuck,

Thanks for your post…sorry this took me so long to respond…I was out of town for about two weeks and actually had to some podcast work at one point from on the road…I appreciate all the kind comments and criticisms..your comments reaffirm many things I have hoped to accomplish and believe about the podcast and its eperienc for users……including the good and not so good or at least the parts that need a little iprovement in style or approach…your feedback is genuinely appreciated and is helpful…I will try to address each of the rest of these items individually below…

      1. Regarding the volume levels….I know its still a problem…despite some steps I have taken along the way to elminate the issuse…I do use appy a soud level normalization filter at -23db to all the recordings….I still dont have good luck getting the transitions right…I’m sorry…I do know its a problem…I am going to have to refocus on that at some point…it really does need to be fixed…

      2. Regarding not being able to post related to episodes that are more than 2-3 weeks old…that is the first I have heard…actually, no post is “posted” unless I review and approve the post first….but that is the only limitation I am aware of…I have, thus far, only turned down a couple of posts because of the inappropriateness of the remarks..this is the first I am hearing about a limitation on older episodes….I will ask the individual who helps me with the website to look into this…I have wondered myself given the relatively low number of remarks on the site…relative to the number of listeners
4.I have not heard of the smoke signal discussion…that is one I will have to research a bit more…
      5. The carbon copy question is a great question…and the short answer is I dont know…I have never seen a carbon copy related to any of these reports…or any reference to a carbon copy…certainly they were in existence then…so will have to research that one more too…unfortuately, that wont catch situations when they just wrote it down wrong…BUT as they wanted it to appear..and in those days they werent always signed by the affiant…and many affiants didnt understand the problem until some researcher found the problem and showed the witness…and that in many circumstances was the first time that a witness saw or at least paid attention to what had been written down…and in many instances the first time the lodged an objection to what had been written down, going on record finally…that it was NOT accurate
      6. I do like Broccoli…just not raw in a salad…my wife does make me eat it that way…just not my favorite…

      Happy Thanksgiving!

      Jeff
