Episode 121 is the seventh episode of a series of quasi history lessons and Part 6 of a series covering the history of the Mafia. In part 6, we cover the last leg of the story of the Great Awakening. The story of the government and the public finally recognizing and acknowledging the existence of a national crime syndicate. Episode 121 covers the infamous Joe Valachi and the Joe Valachi hearings. A story that was dubbed as one of the two greatest intelligence coups in the history of the fight against the Mafia in this country up to that time.
