Episode 44 Julia Ann Mercer Part 2

Episode 44 is a continuation of our journey into the mysterious world of the Grassy Knoll and the idea of a conspiracy. This episode is the second episode in a two part series covering Julia Ann Mercer, who was traveling through the plaza about ninety minutes before the assassination. What this young lady witnessed as her car was stopped in the plaza is possibly one of the most fantastic and far out scenarios of the JFK story. Mercer never sought the publicity that came with other celebrity witnesses and she was rumored to have gone into some level of seclusion after the assassination. She is categorized as part of a coterie of witnesses that were never called to testify before the Warren Commission but may be critical to understanding what really happened that day. As a juror, you will have to make your own conclusions on this one!

Fascinating podcast. Started episode one as I departed from my home in Chicago for a trip out west. 3930 miles later, I made it thru episode 42 (with a few breaks for E Street Radio and CNN : ). I have always been interested in the JFK case, since childhood, and spend some time with my history/government classes each year (four days … or more … in November) dissecting the case as best I can. This series is amazing, and will be a great tool for further instruction of my high school juniors. I look forward to future episodes!

      Hi Ron,

Thanks so much for this comment. It’s wonderful to hear that it was so captivating to you personally and also that it will be used to help instruct younger folks. I can just tell you that I had met with Cyril Wecht several weeks ago and that was one of the key points that he brought up to me…that is…what are schools saying about this topic to today’s generation. I am excited to be able to share your comment with others and also to share it directly with Dr. Wecht. He’ll be quite pleased to read this!

Thank you, and I hope you keep listening, and I hope we keep producing episodes that keep everyone coming back for more!

      Jeff
